{"id":1107,"date":"2026-04-14T13:41:57","date_gmt":"2026-04-14T11:41:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/simgolfscandinavia.com\/?page_id=1107"},"modified":"2026-08-05T15:49:36","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T13:49:36","slug":"refund-and-returns-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/simgolfscandinavia.com\/en\/refund-and-returns-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Complaints and Warranties"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"et_pb_section_0 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_row_0 et_pb_row et_block_row\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_0 et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_0 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"165\" data-end=\"196\">Complaints \/ Product Defects<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"198\" data-end=\"1135\">\n<li data-start=\"198\" data-end=\"339\">\n<p data-start=\"200\" data-end=\"339\">For all types of complaints, the process is simplified if <strong data-start=\"253\" data-end=\"279\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> is contacted before the customer returns any product.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"340\" data-end=\"515\">\n<p data-start=\"342\" data-end=\"515\">In the event of a complaint, the product should, if possible, be packed in its original packaging. <strong data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"442\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> accepts no responsibility for products that have been inadequately packaged by the customer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"625\">\n<p data-start=\"518\" data-end=\"625\">Contact is made by email or phone. The customer will then receive instructions on how to return the product. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"847\">\n<p data-start=\"628\" data-end=\"847\"><strong data-start=\"628\" data-end=\"654\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> does not accept returned products that incur costs for us (e.g., shipments sent cash on delivery). In the event of a product fault, the customer pays the shipping to us unless otherwise agreed. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"1055\">\n<p data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"1055\">Screens that are rolled in and out of a cassette are often, or become over time, wavy. The only way to avoid this is to choose a frame-tensioned screen or a screen with tab tension. Waviness in the screen is not grounds for a complaint.  <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1135\">\n<p data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1135\"><strong data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1084\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> follows decisions by the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1140\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1154\">Right of Withdrawal<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1843\">\n<li data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1368\">\n<p data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1368\">If you regret your purchase, you have the right to return the item within <strong data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1229\">14 days<\/strong>, provided it is in essentially unchanged condition. If the condition has changed (e.g., the projector lamp has been used), a deduction will be made from the refund. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1542\">\n<p data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1542\">For products that are not returned in their original condition, <strong data-start=\"1430\" data-end=\"1456\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> has the right to charge the customer for the costs incurred to restore the product.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1543\" data-end=\"1706\">\n<p data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1706\">The customer pays the return shipping. If the product has been paid for, <strong data-start=\"1602\" data-end=\"1628\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> must refund the amount within <strong data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1666\">30 days<\/strong> from the date the returned item is received. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1707\" data-end=\"1797\">\n<p data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1797\"><strong data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1735\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> does not offer open purchase unless otherwise agreed before purchase.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1798\" data-end=\"1843\">\n<p data-start=\"1800\" data-end=\"1843\">The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1845\" data-end=\"1848\">\n<h3 data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1906\">The Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1908\" data-end=\"1957\">According to Act (2005:59), the following applies, among other things:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1959\" data-end=\"2943\">\n<li data-start=\"1959\" data-end=\"2275\">\n<p data-start=\"1961\" data-end=\"2275\"><strong data-start=\"1961\" data-end=\"1980\">Chapter 2, Section 12<\/strong><br data-start=\"1980\" data-end=\"1983\"\/>The consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal only if the product is kept in substantially unchanged condition. However, this does not apply if the product has been destroyed or altered due to measures necessary for its examination, or due to circumstances not attributable to the consumer. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2277\" data-end=\"2558\">\n<p data-start=\"2279\" data-end=\"2558\"><strong data-start=\"2279\" data-end=\"2314\">Chapter 2, Section 15 (second paragraph)<\/strong><br data-start=\"2314\" data-end=\"2317\"\/>The consumer shall compensate the trader (<strong data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2385\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong>) for any depreciation in value to the extent that it results from the consumer handling the product more than was necessary to determine its characteristics or function.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2560\" data-end=\"2829\">\n<p data-start=\"2562\" data-end=\"2829\"><strong data-start=\"2562\" data-end=\"2580\">Chapter 2, Section 5<\/strong><br data-start=\"2580\" data-end=\"2583\"\/>If the distance contract concerns a product to be manufactured or substantially altered according to the consumer's specific wishes, or which otherwise acquires a clear personal touch, the consumer and the trader may agree in writing that the right of withdrawal shall not apply.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2831\" data-end=\"2943\">\n<p data-start=\"2833\" data-end=\"2943\">For purchases under Section 5 above, <strong data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"2897\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> will contact the customer to enter into a written agreement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2945\" data-end=\"3029\">Link to the law:<br data-start=\"2961\" data-end=\"2964\"\/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.riksdagen.se\/sv\/dokument-och-lagar\/dokument\/svensk-forfattningssamling\/lag-200559-om-distansavtal-och-avtal-utanfor_sfs-2005-59\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"2964\" data-end=\"3029\">The Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"145\" data-end=\"157\">Warranties<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"159\" data-end=\"403\">All new products sold by <strong data-start=\"195\" data-end=\"221\">Golfsim Scandinavia AB<\/strong> are covered by a two (2) year warranty. Exceptions may apply for consumables such as projector lamps, hitting mats and impact screens, which in some cases have a shorter warranty period under the manufacturer's terms. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"405\" data-end=\"792\">The warranty covers original defects that arise under normal use and care in accordance with the manufacturer\u2019s instructions. For faults covered by the warranty, Golfsim Scandinavia AB, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation, has the right to repair the item for the same fault up to three (3) times. After that, the customer may be offered a replacement item with equivalent performance, a price reduction, or cancellation of the purchase.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"965\">If the buyer has benefited from the item, the seller has the right to make a reasonable deduction for this. More information about the applicable rules on warranties is available at <strong data-start=\"942\" data-end=\"964\">Konsumentverket.se<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"967\" data-end=\"1305\">Software in the form of programs, apps and licenses may change before or after purchase, for example simulator software, operating systems or third-party services. Golfsim Scandinavia AB provides no warranty regarding availability, functionality, or future changes to software provided by external manufacturers or suppliers. <\/p>\n<p>Warranties for business customers are one (1) year.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1317\">Service<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1545\">Warranty service is primarily handled by the respective manufacturer\u2019s or supplier\u2019s authorized service center.
